Where do I find my name or address?
  1. In Polymarket tap your avatar (top right) → Settings.
  2. Open Profile. The Address field is it: 0x plus 40 letters and digits. Tap the copy icon.
  3. Or just type your Polymarket name (@name), or paste your profile link: polymarket.com/@name or /profile/0x… both work.

Not the address under Deposit → Transfer crypto. That is a funding address, a different one, and it shows no trades.

The short answer

How you trade on Polymarket makes a big difference to your fees. Traders who mostly wait for their price with limit orders paid about 0.08% of the money they bet; traders on 5-minute crypto rounds paid about 2.95%, and traders who buy long shots at 20¢ or less about 3.46%. Two things drive it: instant buys and sales, which pay the fee, and the price you buy at.

Five trading styles

Each wallet gets one style, checked in this order: waits for its price (30% of the money or less went in instantly), then 5-minute crypto, betting during the game, betting before the game, markets without a start time (each: half or more of the money).

Fees are the typical (middle) wallet in each group. “Ahead” counts wallets above zero on the Polymarket profile, which is before fees, and after fees. 5 more wallets fit no style.

By price and by selling

These groups cut across the styles: a wallet can be in a style above and in one or more groups here.

What the numbers have in common

  • Instant trades pay, waiting orders don’t. The styles that pay most put almost all their money in at the screen price; the one that pays least does the opposite, and Polymarket paid most of those wallets back more than their fees.
  • Price matters. For every style, cheap shares pay the biggest fee as a share of the bet and shares near $1 the smallest.
  • Fast rounds add up. On 5-minute crypto, fees turned 5 of 13 profitable months into losses; in no other style did fees turn more than 1.
